NIPT sample must arrive at VCGS within 5 days.
Thursday - Sunday collections will be kept in the laboratory and sent on Mondays (except Public Holidays)

Sample must be collected into a Streck Vacutainer tube with a minimum volume of 7 mL.
Tube must be inverted gently 10 times immediately after draw.
Samples are to be stored at Room Temperature.
Patients MUST be >10 weeks gestation to have this test. DO NOT collect if <10 weeks.

Private Patients: Test code is $449 non-MBs. Please make sure mobile number is provided in the Patient details section. Patient will receive an SMS with a link for payment once the sample has been received. Results will be sent to your doctor once testing is complete and payment has been made. Testing is performed by VCGS Pathology, also known as percept test.
It is recommended that patients present with percept VCGS request form.  
Alternatively Mater request forms are suitable as long as gestational age of pregnancy is on request.  
Patients must complete payment details on percept request form for billing purposes.
