This test can be requested for Legionella PCR, Legionella pneumophila PCR, Legionella longbeachae PCR, Chlamydia pneumoniae PCR (TWAR), Chlamydia psittaci PCR, Cryptococcus sp PCR

PCR testing is performed Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Samples received before 11 am of the testing day will be tested, if received after 11am on testing days, samples will be tested on the next testing day. If PCR testing is required urgently out-of-hours, please contact the microbiology laboratory on 3163-8168.
